Tardive Dyskinesia Center

The Tardive Dyskinesia Center aims to educate the public about tardive dyskinesia, a serious movement disorder with symptoms similar to Parkinson's disease. It can develop in patients who have been treated with certain prescription antipsychotics. As many as 1 out of every 5 patients taking neuroleptic or antipsychotic medications for longer than three months will develop the condition, which can be permanent and has no known cure. Free support books and information packets are available to website visitors.
