Wednesday April 24 and Thursday 25 – Hidden in Plain Sight

In Snoqualmie at Mount Si High on Wednesday and in Duvall at the Educational Service Center on Thursday. Learn more from Empower Youth Network, who is hosting the event here. 

Hidden in Plain Sight helps parents & guardians spot signs of possible substance use, or mental health struggles using an interactive display of a teenager’s bedroom. This exhibit educates and empowers participants to communicate with their children about at-risk behaviors and expectations. A strong parent/guardian-teen relationship is one of the most profound protective factor we can work to establish.

The retreat will explore pain and suffering in the1st hour and turn to faith, hope and love in the 2nd hour. Host Joe Stevens says taking 2.5 hours out of your day to treat yourself to some very much needed self-care is well worth it!

This Sunday May 5th, come celebrate with us, your friends from the Centro Cultural Mexicano from 11 am to 6 pm.
